Dr. Edyta Witulska, D.D.S.

Dr. Witulska is very passionate about dentistry, especially the preventative aspects. She believes that the best dental treatment is to prevent disease and dental problems. She also enjoys procedures including aesthetic smile reconstruction as well as Invisalign orthodontic treatment for teenage patients and older. Dr. Witulska has attended multiple continuing education courses over the last 23 years and applies only the latest research-based techniques and treatments.

She enjoys spending time with her family including her 3 children and in her spare time, she is an avid reader and skier.

Dr. Alina Solomiychuk, D.D.S.

Dr. Alina Solomiychuk attended the University of Florida, USA where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree as well as her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Dr. Alina enjoys practicing all aspects of general and family dentistry. She strongly believes in patient education and good communication in order to help her patients make the best decisions when it comes to their oral health. Dr. Alina has a kind and friendly personality and ensures her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their visits.

Dr. Alina is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

She is very passionate about healthy eating, fitness, and overall well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, working out, and reading.

Dr. Palak Shah, D.D.S.

Dr. Shah attended the University of Western Ontario, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics, as well as her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Shah enjoys practicing all aspects of general and family dentistry.
Her warm and relaxed chair side approach instantly makes patients feel at ease.
Dr. Shah is passionate about providing high quality dental care to all of her patients and strives to ensure that their dental needs are met.

Dr. Shah is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys travelling with her husband and  four young children, is an avid reader and loves to play volleyball

Dr. Dan Fortino, D.D.S.

Dr. Dan Fortino grew up in Hamilton and completed his undergraduate education at McMaster University in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario with Dr. Rachelle Blue!

He went on to obtain his Specialty Degree in Periodontics and a Masters in Science from the Centre for Advanced Dental Education in St Louis, Missouri. After his specialty, he pursued a fellowship in Advanced Surgical and Restorative Oral Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He joined the Department of Periodontics and Implant Center at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a part-time faculty member and is currently on staff in the Graduate Periodontics Department.

He loves the sport of hockey and he is the proud brother of Gold and Silver Medalist Laura Fortino who is playing for the Team Canada Women’s Hockey National Team!

Dr. Ryan Margel, Endodontist, DMD, MS, FRCD(C)

Dr. Ryan Margel, DMD, MS, FRCD(C) is our Endodontist who specializes in root canals. Originally from Toronto, he graduated with distinction from York University with a major Mathematics. In 2009, Dr. Margel obtained his dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to work as a general dentist for two years prior to embarking on a two-year specialty program at Marquette University in Endodontics. His Masters thesis investigated the anatomical complexities of molar root canals. Dr. Margel is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, sports, exercise, and traveling.

Dr. John McIntosh, Oral Surgeon, DDS, FRCD(C), OMFS

Dr. John McIntosh graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 2002. He then completed a general practice residency at the Erie County Medical Center prior to specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New York City and in Buffalo New York where he completed his four-year residency in surgery and anesthesia.

Dr McIntosh has been in practice in southern Ontario for the last fifteen years and spent five of those years flying to remote northern communities to help under-serviced populations.

Dr McIntosh has focused his attention on office-based, outpatient, general anesthesia, wisdom teeth, dental implants, dental extractions and oral pathology.

Dr McIntosh is a Fellow with the Royal College Of Dentists of Canada and is recognized nationally as a Specialist in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Joel Schacher, Orthodontist

Dr. Joel Schacher is a native of Toronto. He completed both his undergraduate and dental training at the University of Toronto, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1977. His Orthodontic Specialty Certification was received at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York in 1980.

Dr. Schacher is the founder and President of the Ontario branch of the Damon Orthodontic Study Club and regularly presents to dental offices and groups on the topic of facial driven orthodontic treatment. Dr. Schacher has been a Damon System orthodontist since 2003. In addition to being a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, he is currently a life member of both the Ontario and American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Schacher is currently part of the speaker’s bureau for Crest/Oral-B and Proctor and Gamble lecturing on various topics including oral hygiene in both orthodontic and general practice. As well, Dr. Schacher is a member of the Dental Programme Advisory Committee of George Brown which helps advise the College on areas of course content for auxiliary graduates entering dental practices.

Dr. Schacher brings to his treatment approach a blend of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm which allows him to relate to patients of all ages.
